President : Gideon MURIUKI

Gideon MIRIUKI started his career at the Barclays Bank of Kenya and moved thereafter to the Standard Chartered Bank as Manager for Global Corporate Banking. Mr. Muriuki joined the Co-operative Bank of Kenya in 1996 as Senior Manager responsible for Corporate and Commercial Banking. He was promoted to General Manager in 1999 and subsequently to Managing Director of the Bank. He now also acts as Vice-President and regional Chairman of the region of East, Central and South Africa for the ICBA.
