Comité Regional de las Cooperativas Financieras de la ACI-Americas (COFIA)
COFIA is the sectoral committee on financial cooperation formed by ICA Americas. It is composed from various countries of the Latin Americas. Its mission is to help ACI Americas in the promotion and defence of the financial cooperative sector, to substain their development and their integration.
COFIA implemented a strategy to increase the financial cooperatives representation in the regional countries inside its own association, as its analysis and proposals lead with the financial sector interest.
Membership :
Bolivia, Chile, Costa Rica, Uruguay, Argentina, El Salvador and Mexico.
Action Plan 2007-08 only available in Spanish.
